Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of True Web Apps (“I,” “me,” the “Service”), operated from Tampa Bay, Florida. By using the site, creating an account, or signing a project agreement, you agree to these Terms. A signed project agreement controls if it conflicts with these Terms on fees, scope, or payment.

1. The Service

I design and build websites and internal tools. Project work is billed under a written agreement: paid in full, two payments, or a monthly installment plan, plus an optional care plan. The site and admin tools are hosted on Vercel, with data in Supabase.

2. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for the activity under it. A project agreement does not include a free trial. If I separately offer a trial on an older subscription, no payment method is required to start that trial.

3. Project payments

The amount and schedule are the ones in the signed agreement. I email payment instructions from billing@truewebapps.com when money is due.
That email may offer one or more of: Stripe card checkout, Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App. I choose which of those to include. Stripe is not the default and is not sent unless I select it for that email.
Card numbers entered in Stripe checkout are handled by Stripe. I do not store full card numbers. Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App are paid to the handles in the email. I confirm those payments myself.
Signing the agreement does not charge a card and does not open checkout.
A late or reversed payment is handled as the agreement says, including pause of work until the account is current.

4. Card subscriptions

If you still have a card subscription from an earlier plan, that subscription renews through Stripe until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. I do not prorate a partial month. If a renewal charge fails, Stripe may retry it and I may email you. Prices for a subscription can change with at least 30 days’ notice by email.

5. Refunds

Project fees follow the refund terms in the signed agreement. Subscription charges are generally not refundable once paid. For a genuine billing error, email me within 14 days.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of text, images, and logos you supply. You grant me a limited license to host and display them so I can do the work. Ownership of the site I build follows the signed agreement, including payment before files transfer.

7. Acceptable use

No illegal content, spam, malware, intellectual-property infringement, or attempts to disrupt the Service. I may suspend access that breaks these rules.

8. Availability

I aim for a reliable service. The site is provided “as is.” I may maintain it and change features. I do not guarantee search rankings, sales, or a host’s uptime.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, my total liability for a claim about the Service is limited to the fees you paid me in the three months before the claim, unless a signed agreement sets a different cap for that project.

10. Termination

You may close an account at any time. I may end access that breaches these Terms. After that I will give a reasonable window to export data I still hold.

11. Changes

I may update these Terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. A project agreement already signed is not rewritten by a later change to this page.
